

Then, when you need to record a part using your Monologue, when you go to select the input for the track you will see "Input 8 (Monologue)" so you can quickly identify the correct channel your Monologue is connected to. If it is patched into say Input 8, then in the I/O Label window in Logic, you would name this channel "Monologue" and give it a short name of "Mono". Well with custom I/O labels you no longer need to remember what input your Monologue is patched into.
